DeRay Davis Richmond reviews
Night of comedy
First and foremost let me say that I enjoyed the show. The d.j. did a good job keeping the place lively before the show started. I appreciated them giving the opening act a chance, he did well. I expected Jess Hilarious to bring a little more energy than what we got but it was just an ok set for me. Everyone else on the roster did not disappoint and my fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As for improvements I just wish they had persons there to usher you from the parking lot to direct you where you were supposed to go but once we figured out where we needed to be the workers were very helpful in helping us find out seats. Overall I loved how they interacted with the audience and the fact that they tried to learn a little bit about the city they were performing in so that they could incorporate it into their act. It was a good night.
Horrible Internet Reception
Since we can no longer print our tickets, Arie Crown relies on our phone- The Ticketmaster app - to gain entrance. However, my phone, and the phones of other patrons were unable to receive reception. This is very frustrating, as we can not gain entrance without it. A very personable and capable employee at the Customer Service desk helped me. She found my tickets on her computer and texted it to me. As we are in a digital age, and now 2023, Arie Crown you have GOT to do better. This is ridiculous. It has been a while since I've attended an event at the Arie Crown, and I have no intention to attend one anytime soon.
